Ordering ice coffee without cream or sugar confuses people almost as much as if you’d ordered scrambled eggs without a plate. You can watch a McDonalds server’s brain grind to a smoking halt trying to process this mystical unicorn of a beverage. I once had a waitress at IHOP refuse to serve it, because she thought the temperature variance of the ice and coffee would make the glass explode.
I order it more out of spite now than anything.
